We
organized the institutional event, the “Entrepreneurship Awards 2023”
for the third consecutive year, on behalf of the Chamber of Halkidiki, on
Monday, September 25, at the Pomegranate Hotel, in Nea Potidaia, Halkidiki.

The awards given were not only based on business successes, which are reflected in numbers and financial results, but also on values and attitudes that shape the corporate culture. This year’s awards included companies from all sectors of the Chamber, which met criteria such as the promotion of locality, longevity and family tradition, digital transformation, social responsiveness, innovation, international presence, but also inclusion and respect for diversity.

The
event was organized under the auspices of the Ministries of Development, Rural
Development and Food, Tourism, Interior of the Sector of Macedonia Thrace, the
Region of Central Macedonia and the Central Union of Chambers of Greece.
The
event was graced by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Interior,
responsible for Macedonia-Thrace issues, Stathis Konstantinidis, the Member of
Parliament of Halkidiki Ioannis Giorgos, the Regional Governor of Central
Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the Deputy Regional Governor of Halkidiki
Katerina Zografou, the regional councilor Mela Kyriakidou, the Deputy Mayor of
Polygyrou Christos Vordos, the Police Director of Halkidiki Thodoros Rumkos,
the President of POX Grigoris Tasios, the President of ANETHA Giorgos Pasalis
and the General Director of KEPA ANEM Spyros Skotidas, as well as a number of
journalists and businessmen. A greeting was sent by Member of Parliament of
Halkidiki, Apostolos Panas.
The
event was presented by the journalist Maria Samolada.
At the
reception, which followed in the hotel premises, the guests had the opportunity
to taste unique dishes and wines, which included the specially designed menu by
the hotel’s team of chefs and curated by Chef Stories. Excellent local products
were highlighted, sponsorship of 35 dynamic producers of Halkidiki and constant
supporters of the actions of the Chamber of Halkidiki.
The
results of the awarded companies were obtained after the comparative evaluation
of the nominations, which was undertaken by a competent committee of the Center
for Social Research and Decision-Making Support, School of Economics and
Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
