We have successfully completed the second phase of the Halkidiki Treats action within the framework of the Taste Halkidiki program organized by the Chamber of Halkidiki. The goal of the program is to promote local products, such as green and raisin olives from Halkidiki, olive oil, and honey, and establish them as treats in the local restaurants.
To support the action, the Chamber of
Halkidiki secured an initial quantity of olives from local businesses, which
were then distributed to restaurants that expressed interest and participated
in the action.
Halkidiki Treats in numbers:
255(!) kilograms of green and raisin olives
from Halkidiki generously provided to us,
14 processing units
55 restaurants throughout Halkidiki, connected
with the Chamber, added Halkidiki treats to their menus as a sample of unique
Greek hospitality, as well as a way to showcase local identity, our rich
gastronomy, and unique products we produce.
