All About Gastronomy – FOΟD & DRINKS by Detrop, November 2024. Organized by: Chef Stories.

The renewed FOOD & DRINKS International Expo by Detrop took place with great success from November 1-3 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, under the slogan Eat Locally, Think Globally.” The event aimed to introduce the “present and future” of food, beverages, and modern trends in gastronomy.

The rich program of parallel events, including All About Gastronomy, was held in collaboration with HELEXPO and the specialized event-organizing company Chef Stories. It offered trade visitors from Greece and the international market a new experience of connecting with exhibitors’ products through scheduled tasting events.

Two carefully designed Masterclasses tailored for the specialized and demanding audience of Hosted Buyers, a guided experiential tasting, and storytelling by Sylvia Koumentaki from Chef Stories highlighted the uniqueness, innovation, tradition, local character, and distinct qualities of exhibitors’ products. These attributes were showcased through exquisite dishes crafted by Samiotakis Catering.

At The Pairing Bar, fine Wines, Spirits, and Beers from exhibitors across Greece were expertly paired with cheeses, spreads, pickles, olives, deli products, dried fruits, nuts, chocolate, and seasonings. This experience included a detailed presentation by Nana Zygoura (https://www.zygoura.gr/), a member of the Chef Stories Team, business development consultant, and adult educator, along with the creators themselves.

Στο θεματικό σαλόνι Herbs nHoney, με τη Νανά Ζυγούρα, αναδείχθηκαν τα μοναδικά βότανα, αφεψήματα και μέλι, προϊόντα των παραγωγών της έκθεσης, αλλά και ο ιδανικός συνδυασμός των αγνών ελληνικών superfoods.

 

At the Dairy Exploration lounge, Lia Boudioukou from the Chef Stories Team and a Communications Consultant presented traditional, local, as well as innovative cheeses and other dairy products from exhibitors representing various regions of Greece.

The bread and breadsticks were generously provided by Lemonis Bakery, the serving platters and dishes by Costos S.A., and the plates, forks, and serving spoons made from recycled materials by SKG ECO SHOP.
