Taste Halkidiki Fam Trip #3, June 2022, Organized by: Chef Stories.

A specially designed Fam Trip for representatives of Mass Media from Athens, Thessaloniki, and Halkidiki was organized and carried out by Chef Stories on behalf of Halkidiki Chamber as part of the Taste Halkidiki Program.

3 visits to production and trade venues of agri-food products
5 meetings with local producers

Interviews, information, and dozens of product tastings from the main categories produced in Halkidiki: olives, olive oil, wine, beer, meat, cold cuts, fish, mussels, seafood, pasta, pies, desserts, vegetables, fruits

5 meals with specially designed menus at distinguished dining venues in Halkidiki
1 meeting with a local cultural and tradition association, presentation, and tasting of treats prepared with traditional recipes
1 visit and tasting of products at the Holy Community of Evangelismos Theotokou in Ormylia
1 visit to the island of Ammouliani
1 olive oil tasting workshop

The trip concluded with the participants’ visiting the 2nd Taste Halkidiki Festival, which took place on Sunday, June 19, at the Central Pier of Neos Marmaras.
