Thessaloniki Food Basket, CTC Athens 14/10/2018

The presentation of the event Thessaloniki Food Basket 2018 part of the event Thessaloniki Food  Festival, established by the Municipality of Thessaloniki, was for a second time organized in Athens on the 14h of October.  In cooperation with the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, a gastronomic dinner was organized by Chef Stories for food journalists.  The event took place on Sunday 14th October 2018, in the design and friendly urban gastronomy CTC Restaurant, of the renowned chef Alexandros Tsiotinis.  In a cozy atmosphere, took place the presentation of  Thessaloniki Food Basket and the 2018 Chef Ambassadors by Mr. Spiros Pengas, appointed Counsellor to the Mayor of Thessaloniki, responsible for Tourism and International Relations and Mrs Sylvia Koumedaki owner and managing director of Chef Stories.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”52″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]The signature recipes created by the three Chef Ambassadors 2018 Dimitris Tasioulas, Antonis Moustakis and Lambros Rossios for the evening, comprised a delightful menu for the guests of the evening.  The wines of the event were selected in cooperation with the association Wines of North Greece and more specifically the vineyards-members of Halkidiki, Domaine Claudia Papayianni, Domaine Porto Carras, Tsantali, Mylopotamos Winery – Mount Athos-Metohi Milopotamou and contributed to an exclusive pairing.
